'Rojak' from this stall only comes with 2 bamboo skewers

STOMPer Miss K said a plate of rojak from a stall at a hawker centre in Bedok only comes with two skewers, or "satay sticks" as they are popularly referred to.

Said the STOMPer:

"This stall's vendor said " A plate of 2 dollars 'Rojak' only comes with two skewers because it's supposed to be eaten by only one person. So two sticks is quite generous".

"I was wondering if a plate was shared by a family, would they have to share two sticks among themselves?

"If the vendor wants to save money, she should try to do so in other ways.

"She simply told me" Then don't buy Rojak from us."

"Ridiculous!"

Best place for food...home...just cook your own food...even if only know how cook water aso good enough. Won't kena scolding from stranger, if dun want cook own food, then just shut up and take the food and go home eat....

$2 rojak is cheap but the remark is uncalled for. Nowadays hawkers and stall assistants are very aggressive and rude. But what can you do. They have advised you not to buy from them. Just do it.

Vendor give you 2 sticks, you complain. If the vendor decides to save money and give you a smaller portion, you also complain.

Miss K, i suggest you migrate to another country. Don't stay in Singapore.

There is a cost in everything. I can't actually believe someone posted this on a $2 Rojak she paid for. Rojak is never taken as a main dish, it is more like a "jiat song" dish, you can always use your own chop stick from other dishes. Don't like it don't buy from them lor..........Why don't you show us the quantity of the $2 Rojak you paid for and we will tell you is 2 satay stick generous for the Rojak you paid for. IMO, you are already pretty lucky that they didn't gave you toothpick for the $2 you paid for.
