After potholes at a carpark in Boon Lay Avenue were filled with cement, the road became uneven and bumpy. The town council has responded that this was a temporary measure and the road will be properly repaired by next week.
Said the West Coast Town Council spokesperson in an email (Feb 2):
"West Coast Town Council would like to thank STOMPer Strawberries4u, for the feedback.
"The repairs were temporarily carried out to the pot holes because of frequent movement of heavy vehicles to and from the ongoing construction work site in the vicinity, exacerbated by inclement weather.
"An arrangement has been made with the contractor to properly repair the road by next week.
"We would like to take this opportunity to request our residents with maintenance feedback to contact us at the following numbers and email addresses, so that it can be looked into:
