What Bugs Me
Woman takes trolley from supermarket -- and pushes it around Bishan

STOMPer Darien saw a woman pushing an NTUC FairPrice trolley around Bishan Street 14. The STOMPer feels she not not have taken it out of the supermarket.

Said the STOMPer:

"So inconsiderate: Woman seen pushing NTUC trolley at Bishan Street 14.

"My mother was driving on the road when I spotted this woman pushing a trolley which belongs to NTUC.

"I feel that this is very inconsiderate as NTUC has already stated that trolleys should not be pushed out of their buildings.

"If everyone does this, there would not be enough trolleys for everyone to use.

"I seriously doubt that she would return the trolley.

"I hope that NTUC would take appropriate actions against this lady and others like her."

If you have too many things to carry home, get a cab. Simple as that. Not a reasonable excuse to bring out a trolley.

Why blame Ntuc? It's these inconsiderate people that needed to be taught a lesson. Don't make sense for Ntuc to hire staffs to guard all shopping centres exits to make sure people don't bring the trolleys home.

She will perhaps take the trolley home, unload the foodstuff, leave the trolley outside her flat, and use it again the next time she visits NTUC. Simple as that.

The only way to stop this is to for verious supermarkets to take actions against those inconsiderate people by fine or even prosecution.

But unfortunately non of the supermarkets want to do that and such tihngs continues since those supermarkets 'allows' them to do so by not taking action against them.
