STOMPer Andrew came across a batch of carrots at a supermarket which has turned mouldy in their basket but found the staff oblivious to the problem. He hopes the carrots will be replaced this time after his feedback to the duty manager in a similar incident previously fell on deaf ears.
The STOMPer wrote:
"I was shopping with my family at Prime supermarket at Sengkang when I came across these carrots that have turned bad inside the basket.
"The staff didn't seem to be bothered by it.
"This isn't the first time I have seen this supermarket outlet selling bad goods.
"Once, I saw a batch of sunflower seeds on the shelve which were past its expiry date and told the manager about it but nothing came out of it -- the expired sunflower seeds were still there when I went back after that incident.
"I'm disappointed at their attitude with regards to this and hope I can bring this matter up to inform the public.
"Maybe then, they'll listen to our feedback."
