Maybe the chocolate was not mouldy. It could be "blooming", a phenomenon that occurs to chocolate at times. Some manufacturers will even put a piece of paper in the boxes, informing consumers about it.

The bak kwa are freshly barbecued and need to eat within a day or two, then better put in fridge and reheat in microwave oven when you like to eat it.

You need to warm a little with oven, that will be better taste.

It is good to know how to handle the foods and not just knowing how to eat.

I believe you did not open the bak kwa to air after you purchased.

Every year i bought from them, there is a note in package to advise "to air the bak kwa before storage" It can last for about 2 weeks....

If you bought the bakkwa too early to save $$$, thats gonna happen. LOL.

For the chocolate, I think thats the sugar crystallizing. It happens to many brands of chocolate when kept in fridge. May not be mold.
