STOMPer WKF says that an AIA representative has called to apologise for the single chopstick they sent him as part of a marketing campaign, which some people here believe is an unlucky symbol.
The STOMPer wrote:
In an earlier article, the STOMPer said he had received a single chopstick as part of an advertisement mailer. Some Chinese believe that a single chopstick symbolises disunity between a married couple, or a portent of impending misfortune.
"AIA has called me up to formally apologise for their insensitivity sending a single chopstick to me few weeks ago.
"Although I told them off and asked them to stop sending me promotion letters, they still sent me a hamper as a gesture of goodwill and appreciation for the comment I brought up.
"Their agent also sent me a 'Guang Yin Zu' from a personal account."

Basically AIA can simply apologize and end this. But AIA step out a bit more to send hamper of appreciation for his comment
Pls la, such post are not to "Hao Lian" or complain hamper too small.
But sharing of info for others to get such a single chopstick.
