Golf magazines not suitable for patients at public hospital

STOMPer mim mim thinks these golf magazines at the waiting area of NUH are more suitable for patients at private hospitals like Mount Elizabeth.

Says the STOMPer:

"I had a medical appointment with NUH this morning.

"While I was queuing up outside the clinic to see the doctor, I noticed there was a bookshelf placed at the waiting area to provide some entertainment for patients while they were waiting for their numbers to be called.

"I think the hospital has good intentions in doing so, but I find the reading materials they provided unsuitable for the public.

"I don't think ordinary people will be interested in reading those golf magazines.

"It will draw more interest if the bookshelf was placed at Mount Elizabeth Hospital rather than a public/restructured hospital; they are like white elephants there."

stomper mim mim, are u an amputee therefore u can't enjoy the game of golf and thus find reading it unsuitable. there are others who go to government hospitals who are interested and read about it. also, hospitals don't need to give u reading material while waiting, they are only obligated to give u a seat. next you are going to complain about the channel on the tv, cartoon shown while patients are adults? or news shown in English is sensitive to those who don't understand it, ie most elderly patients ?
