What Bugs Me
S'pore so liberal now? Nudity and explicit dialogue on mio TV

Explicit scenes and dialogue in an American television drama on mio TV got STOMPer Xrated wondering if such content was allowed for broadcast here, even though it was on a pay-TV channel.

The STOMPer wrote:

“I was watching an American TV series called Homeland on mio TV when there was nudity in on one of the episodes along with explicit dialogue at certain points of the show.

“There were also scenes of people making love that were quite graphic.

“I am liberal in my thinking but I wonder if mio TV is allowed to carry shows with content like that since Singapore has always been strict about such things.”

STOMP understands that American drama series on mio TV is available only through its on-demand service.
