12-year-old girl enjoys torture fiction: Should parents control reading material?

STOMPer Disgusting was disturbed to come across this tweet by a 12-year-old girl that reads 'I wanna read torture fics'. The STOMPer feels that parents should control what reading material their children get exposed to.

The STOMPer commented:

"I was searching my Korean idol's name on Twitter and came across this tweet.

"I was rather shocked when I found out that it was tweeted by a 12-year-old user, stating that she has just finished her PSLE.

"In my opinion, parents should control what material their children are viewing and reading.

"Torture fictions about Korean idols are not very pleasant and are an eyesore.

"She/He should not have tweeted this in the first place."

um hello...billions of people read fanfics all over the world it's just for entertainment. If she enjoys reading torture fanfics and parents should control what they read, doesn't that mean all torture books should be thrown away or something.
