Wanted to read some books, but library's closed on public holidays

STOMPer bookworm was looking forward to spend Deepavali at the library curled up with a book, but found out the libraries are closed on public holidays.

Wrote the STOMPer (Oct 26):

"NLB closed on public holidays?

"I went to the National Library to do some reading today but to my horror it was closed!

"I never knew that our public libraries are closed on public holidays!

"Made a wasted trip."
