Fire extinguisher cabinet on bus is empty: What happens if there's a fire?

STOMPer WX was concerned to see that the fire extiguisher cabinet on SBS bus 33 was empty.

Said the STOMPer:

"I took SBS bus 33 to Bugis and I was quite shocked that there was no fire extinguisher in the cabinet where it was suppose to be.

"Recently, there have been quite a few cases of fire happening, such as the taxi fire that happened a few days ago.

"How can we let down our guard down and not prevent such an incident from happening?

"What if there is a fire on the bus and it's not equipped with a fire extinguisher?

"The bus captains should check and ensure that their buses have these safety measures ready at all times."

how many people inthe bus knows how to use the extinguisher or would even lift a finger to do so?
the most theyll do is pry the door open or if it opens, run like hell.
i was in a bus once and smoke started coming out from the engine behind..lots of smoke. Guess who ran first.? The driver. His door had a bigger window..One passenger pried open one of the windows and pushed himself out. Then got the door opened.

In case of fire, call 995 and wait. While waiting use the hammer and starts making so much noise to attract others attention. For smokers, it's a great time to get high!
