A woman in Hong Kong was caught in a blaze but her first thought was to 'rescue' three branded handbags which belong to her and her daughter. Worth it or not, questions STOMPer LifeImportant.
According to the report in Nanyang Siang Pau, the woman, awakened by the blaze, grabbed the Louis Vuitton and Gucci handbags before she exited through a window and climbed down the building with a fire-man's ladder.
Said the STOMPer:
"Would you risk life and limb for your branded handbag?
"The Hong Kong woman decided to put her handbags before her life.
"Although the collection probably cost a few thousand dollars, is her life worth only that?
"Furthermore, although she got out of her apartment in time, what if she fell while climbing down the fire-man's ladder?
"She had to carry all those bags some more.
"This is crazy. I'm thankful she had only three bags. If she had 10, then how?
"How far would you go for your branded goods?"
