Borders may be closing down, but please don't treat it as a dustbin

STOMPer Boarder was shocked and angry to see that people have been treating the premises of the last remaining Borders outlet at Parkway Parade as a dustbin simply because the store is closing down for good tomorrow.

A few days before, it was reported that the only Borders store left standing in Singapore would be shutting its doors permanently on Monday (Sep 26) at 9pm.

The STOMPer described:

"Okay, so Borders is closing for good on 26 Sept, and they're having a 70% firesale, but people please don't just treat the premises like a dustbin.

"I'm not sure if this was a prank or a sign put up by frustrated staff.

"But seriously, people! Give Borders dignity as it gasps its last breath..."
