What Bugs Me
Residents of ground floor unit turn outside area into second home

The residents of this ground floor unit seem to have the area outside their flat into a second home. There are chairs, a coffee table, a TV cabinet and even a mini garden, among other items.

STOMPer James tells us:

"This ground floor unit is located at Woodlands.

"Apparently, the residents of the unit made the compound area outside their unit their second home with chairs, a coffee table, a TV cabinet, two clothes hanging areas, pots of plants, and long benches.

"They also created a a personal garden in the area with lots of potted plants, including 2 trees, and a set of stone table and stools.

"The only thing missing is a bed.

"In the first place, is this even allowed? If is not, those items have been there for years so why is the Town Council not doing anything about it?

"Or is it just a 'close one eye' policy, where if no one complains, then the Town Council will just not bother about it?

"If this is allowed, I will be happy to make an apology for Stomping about the issue here, and I will suggest to the owner to equip his fun area with a pool table and a a dart board.

"Hanging a hammock there would be a nice idea too."

The flat owners had voted for the right party so they pretty much can do what ever they want. TC will issue a warning and ask them to remove the items but who are we kidding?

Since the decoration is made public, don't wast it. Sit around with your friends and eat and drink from the sofa and coffee table provided.

Forever got this kind of inconsiderate residents! Town council & civil defence should step up their enforcement. It is a fire hazard!

You should send this to TC and ask them.

this is an inconsiderate act, as it being a common area, putting stuff there makes the job difficult for the cleaner. how is he going to jet spray the floor every month with so many things around??
