Like many Beijing residents, you might have been fooled by this old woman's 'illness' -- at least before watching this video. The Chinese duo's ploy was revealed as they got up and fled when they realised they were being filmed.
This appears to be a fairly common trick played by unscrupulous beggars in China. A similar ploy was observed by Singaporean STOMPer YL when he visited Shanghai recently.
