STOMPer Trolly hopes that this does not happen here, looking at the recent trend of shopping trolleys being abused and left abandoned in various parts of Singapore.
The most common problem is that of lazy shoppers not returning trolleys to their designated locations after using them.
For example, STOMPer Cynthia Chan spotted a growing number of trolleys abandoned at Toa Payoh Lorong 1 Block 161.
The STOMPer said:
"It started off with just 1 or 2 trolleys, but now it's getting more!
"This is seen at Toa Payoh Lorong 1 Block 161.
"It's becoming a mini NTUC here."
The problem is not confined to shopping trolleys. STOMPer Starr spotted a shopping basket left in a shopping trolley and asked:
"Is our life too fast paced to even put back an NTUC basket?"
