How can? Car's engine left running while parked in basement with a child inside

STOMPer Stephan was shocked to come across this parked car in the basement carpark of Funan the IT mall which engine was left running, with a small child inside.

The STOMPer related:

"I just saw this car parked at Funan mall with the engine still running and a small child inside.

"For me this is scandalous for 2 reasons:

"1. Leaving a child unattended in a car

"2. Leaving the car with the motor running while parked in a basement parking garage (exhaust fumes)."

@stomper: do you know how long the kid has been left alone inside for you to be shocked? Maybe the parent go toilet only. If you were genuinely concerned of the kid's safety, did you stay a while to see if parent comes back anytime soon? Or take photo and immediately stomp away?
