Faulty latch on truck carrying heavy tree trunks is accident waiting to happen

STOMPer BlackStallion was worried after seeing a truck fully loaded with tree trunks travelling on the road. The latch on the side of the truck was faulty, said the STOMPer.

Wrote BlackStallion (Sep 1):

"Accident waiting to happen.

"Saw this truck with its fully-loaded bin at Jalan Kayu on Monday Aug 29, 2011.

"It was carrying huge chunks of tree trunks and was full to the brim.

"The latch on the right side of the bin was faulty and as seen in the picture, the back part of the bin can't be locked.

"It's just a matter of time before the other latch on the other side gives way.

"The outcome of that is unthinkable."
