Security risk: Mail left unattended for more than 10 min
STOMPer Desmond found a pushcart full of mail left unattended in a Serangoon Avenue 2 void deck for more than 10 minutes this afternoon at about 2pm.
The STOMPer was passing by the block, and did not see any delivery personnel around.
Said the STOMPer:
"I happened to see these letters left unattended beside the letter boxes in one of the HDB void decks.
"I stood there for some 10 minutes and no one else was around.
"What came to my mind that moment was what if an unauthorised person had got hold of these letters?
"It would be worse if some credit cards or important documents landed in the hands of an unauthorised person."

these are registered mail. the mailperson is smart not to bring the whole trolley with him. likely a subcontractor worker.
