Neighbours block road with garbage bins, so cars can't get close to their homes
A STOMPer says her neighbours have blocked the small road in front of their homes, causing an inconvenience to other residents.
Apparently, the neighbours did not want any cars to go near their houses.
Said the STOMPer:
"I live in a semi-detached in a private estate.
"My neighbours own these two houses and they conveniently used four Sem. Corp bins to block the way and not allow any cars to go close to their houses.
"These neighbours may not have any ill-intentions, but it has caused my parents to have a misunderstanding.
"However, I have convinced them that this is just a prevention and not anything else.
"I am appalled by this act and hope that this will not cause any misunderstanding between neighbours."

My dad owns the house on the right of the pic and my grandma owns the left. Your parents are just over-reacting. We resurfaced the road in front of 15-A Building and we used the garbage bins to prevent passers-by from damaging their cars on the road. THHHATTTS all... No one will park there cause its a gate and why should any self-respecting citizen be outraged that someone is taking preventative measures from being blocked in anyway?
If there really is a misunderstanding of sorts (i.e. u need a HUGE turning circle to park your big big big car) then give us a holler by ringing the bell and let us know. We wont bite.
Cheers,
Clarence
If you look carefully at the pictures. The area in front of their house is concrete not Tarmac. If i'm correct, this is in a old estate and that family purchase the land, tore down the existing house and build a newer one on it. The area that they corner off is likely to belong to them as well, likely to be the excess land after completion of the new home.
There's even an incident where a total stranger parked her car INSIDE my friend's house. My friend scolded the stranger and the stranger gave a lame excuse that she was not aware of any law stating that she cannot park inside someone's house. That total stranger must be a nut case.
