Disaster in the making: Burning 'hell notes' next to petrol kiosk

This pile of blazing 7th month offerings was spotted right next to a petrol kiosk -- a potentially disastrous situation should the wind blow flaming pieces of paper near the petrol pumps.

"Someone has been dangerously burning a pile of joss papers in close proximity to a parked van next to a petrol station.

"This is just a perfect recipe for an explosion to occur!"

people below . take note on the rules on the petrol station . no use of cellphones , naked fire , smoking or any fire-related activities . if there was a gas leak , that fire could ignite . it is a danger . im not going against the hungry ghost month rituals . its just some things are to be looked through first . this could lead to a disaster . although the fire is still quite far , it is possible . just a precaution .

So inconsiderate, well not sure why but when the pollution festival aka 7th month festival, most of the cina becomes inconsiderate...
If they wanna offer themselves to the ghost, so be it..

I am not against the 7th mth prayers, its ok for our chinese to
practice their rituals. The things, i like highlight is take precautions when burning the hell papers. Please do nt burn near vehicles,power stations, switch boardrooms,playgrounds,childcare or children's education centres. Please do it in open area where it does not cause any harm to ppl & amenties. The town councils hv provided the bin at the designate place. Please do nt move the bin to yr convient place & cause the disturbance to ppl living in the area.
