Malaysian cop stops S'pore cars, only to brazenly ask for 'kopi' money
This video, captured by a Singaporean driver across the Causeway, shows a police officer collecting 'kopi' money from a whole line of Singaporean drivers.
Caught for 'speeding', the driver had no choice but to pay up to avoid the fine. At one point, the policeman even said the amount the driver paid up was not enough, and asked for RM 50 (about $24).
YJ commented:
"Malaysia Traffic Police only collect money from Singapore cars.
"Would you pay for less trouble?
"Do not 'pay' them if they have your particulars written down because many still receive summons after that.
"Is this the real meaning of Truly Asia?"
