STOMPer Amir is upset by this article published in Malaysia's Sinar Harian, which claims Singapore football players act too much on the field. It even says we are worse than well-known 'divers' in the sport, like Cristiano Ronaldo.
The article comes in the wake of a 1-1 draw between Singapore and Malaysia in the qualifying series of the World Cup 2014. The draw saw Singapore move on to the next round of the competition, while Malaysia was eliminated.
The match, played on Thursday night (July 28), was marred by an ugly incident in which an unscrupulous Malaysia fan attempted to blind the Lions' goalkeeper during a free kick using a green laser pointer. In a separate incident, the Malaysia captain had also made disparaging comments about the Singapore team in an attempt to demoralize the Lions prior to the match.

"Taken from a Malaysian Newspaper, Sinar Harian.
"The title of this news was in Malay but I'll try translate it using my epic fail Malay, it's 'Singaporean Players act too much'.
"It briefly said that Singapore players act worse than all the well-known divers in football like Cristiano Ronaldo.
"And it never states anything about their 'epic laser showcase' .
"Oh well, but still, we won and they didn't."
