What gives? Packet of tofu has bizarre spongy texture

This pack of tofu bought at a supermarket proved to have a very strange texture indeed -- is it made from chemicals rather than soybeans, asks STOMPer Unfortunate Tofu.

She wrote:

"I bought this packet of tofu from NTUC FairPrice last week.

"When I took it out of the fridge wanting to cook it today, I was horrified to find that the tofu I bought don't really seem to be tofu at all but rather like a piece of sponge.

"The shape looks weird and when you take it out and squeeze it, water flows out just like a piece of sponge.

"The texture feels weird, as if it is made of chemicals mixed together to form it, like one of those artificial eggs from China.

"Would like to warn the public to be wary the next time you buy this brand of tofu."

@cultkazuki.....you also another dude,if everybody because of this small issue,and have to alert the AVA,than AVA staff will be very busy,you think they got nothing to do?you are too free doesn't mean AVA is free also..

hey dude stomper,i strongly believe that you have place your tofu in the freezer,i did ever happen to buy a brand (unicurd)and accidently place it in the freezer,when i open up the next day,same as the picture you shown,please blame yourself and not ruin any company name because of you own fault...i think you are too free to post such thing up stomp.
