No 'pearls' in bubble tea due to AVA tests: We've been eating 'untested' food?

STOMPer Commandochef was surprised to learn today (Jun 15) that bubble tea 'pearls' were unavailable because they were "being tested by AVA", according to a staff member at KOI Cafe.

The STOMPer wonders if this means that other food and drinks are being sold to the public without going through testing.

"At 3.30pm today (Jun 15), I dropped by my favourite bubble tea shop and was surprised how short the queue was.

"I quickly ordered my large tea with extra pearls. To my dismay, I was asked, 'no pearl can or not?'

"So I asked how long I had to wait for the pearl and I was told the following: 'our pearls are currently being tested by AVA.'

"I am dumbfounded!

"Are you trying to say that, all these while we have been consuming food and drinks that have not gone through testing before they are sold to the public?

"I am seriously keeping my fingers crossed now."

The comments are ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS. How can you take consumption of potentially harmful products as 'enjoy(ment)'? Don't tell others to 'get a life' if you don't want yours. If your life is so cheap, go ahead and end your life of a void of nothingness. Just cause we're gonna 'die some day sooner or ltr', it doesn't mean we can abuse our bodies to consume cheap, unsafe, processed foods, utilizing the excuse of 'enjoy(ment)'. Isn't enjoyment of life supposed to be about dining in the finest restaurants in the world like El Bulli or Guy Savoy, about travelling the world to see the most fascinating monuments, to own stuffs of the hottest trends of the season? IT'S YOU WHO SHOULD GET A LIFE "x3MinMin". You're a scum to humanity trying to degrade our standards as human beings.
