This misleading price tag led STOMPer aerissis to believe that the snack cost only $1.05, but was told that that price was referring to the small packet. The actual price was $3.40, though the STOMPer could not find that price tag anywhere on the shelf.
The STOMPer related:
"I saw this snack selling for $1.05 at 7-Eleven and thought it was the real deal until I reached the counter.
"The cashier told me that the price was $3.40, because $1.05 is for small packet.
"I went and checked again at the shelf, but there was not a single $3.40 price tag on the shelf for this snack.
"It was misleading on purpose.
"I called into the 7-Eleven hotline and the person said he would get back to me but when I called again at 6.33pm, the hotline was closed.
"7-Eleven had no sense of responsibility to deal with the issue."
