What Bugs Me
Misleading! Price tag says $1.05 but cashier says that is for the smaller packet

This misleading price tag led STOMPer aerissis to believe that the snack cost only $1.05, but was told that that price was referring to the small packet. The actual price was $3.40, though the STOMPer could not find that price tag anywhere on the shelf.

The STOMPer related:

"I saw this snack selling for $1.05 at 7-Eleven and thought it was the real deal until I reached the counter.

"The cashier told me that the price was $3.40, because $1.05 is for small packet.

"I went and checked again at the shelf, but there was not a single $3.40 price tag on the shelf for this snack.

"It was misleading on purpose.

"I called into the 7-Eleven hotline and the person said he would get back to me but when I called again at 6.33pm, the hotline was closed.

"7-Eleven had no sense of responsibility to deal with the issue."

Sagit, 7-11 has its own purpose of serving whoever needs neccesities at wee hours where other options are not available or too far away. Dont anyhow boycott.

why on earth you people still patronize 7-11? 7-11 is well-known for charging exorbitant prices for eg. panadol $7.00++ whereas you can get for $5.30 elsewhere...pringles @ $4.00? you can get it $2.00+ elsewhere too...and there are more and more 24/7 NTUC in our little island so just boycott 7-11...

If you're brave enough, you should challenge the staff and say that is the price I see on the product and that is what I will pay ! Leave the money and walk away !

I got this crap from 7 Eleven too! 1 time I bought Pringles, clearly there was a promotion tag that said it was about $2.40. I went to the cashier, said oh out of stock already; jumbo size. I had to pay $4!!! I tried calling 7 Eleven up and they just kept redirecting me again and again!

It is also my experience with shops owned by China-Chinese. From thence I avoid shopping in such establishments.
