Locals lack civic-mindedness? 'Disgraceful' mess left behind at eatery
After seeing this mess left at two sets of tables in Popeye's eatery, STOMPer Popeyes thinks that locals need to be more civic-minded and clean up after themselves.
The STOMPer wrote:
"This disgraceful mess was left behind at 2 tables at Popeye's in Changi Airport Terminal 3.
"All the patrons are locals."

i would say local that clean it after meal helping the cleaner is good but without cleaning it is not bad either.look at the pros and cons...there is no right or wrong. Anyhow, if the cleaner is not cleaning the table what we called them cleaner hoh??? scratching head don't understand what is the fuss...

haiyo. food wrapper that left on a tray (not on the table shown on picture) is not called a mess. It is just called a finished meal that waiting for the cleaner to be clear...why making a fuss on culture la, manner la, bad things la...the cleaner actually is on the way to clear it. It eating out is not like then do you wanna help them to wash the plate oso meh...haiya..!! stomper is out of stories they post everything and complaint.

It would be great if stomper could clear all the trays for those who left it there rather then putting this on stomp..now,rather than those at airport only Noe abt this disgraceful act,everyone else now Noe about this..well done stomper on bringing down ur own ppl..

@superdollar-I agree wif u.don even know which idiot came up with this idea.If i wanted to clear the table after i'm done,i'd would have to stay at home and i don even have to pay a cent.I bet all this hypocrites never tot they paid for their service but would rather do the work for the cleaner. Dumb

they dont have GST in the west.If we clear it ourselfs,do u get a GST rebate? if not,then why do we pay GST for? We already have to pay and carry our own food

It is about learning good habits from the west, it will be great to clear what is left behind for the next customer to use the table. It is like what is practice at home unless parents or maid clear it. I have seen empty bottles, food wrappers and plastic bag left on the table in void deck. Sadly, the dust bin is just a few feet away, it is about changing one's mindset. Take a look at the other side of the world and you will appreciate Singapore what it is today. Learning good habits from others is the way to go. Giving way to other vehicles is other good habit from the west as not all junctions in USA has traffic lights. The drivers in USA has a "First come, first go" culture, It is something that we are lacking.
