What Bugs Me
Choose any 3 items for $30 -- oops, not ANY 3

STOMPer consumer happily picked three item from this shelf, hoping to take advantage of a '3 for $30' sale, only to be told by the cashier that the offer only applied to items directly behind the sign.

The unhappy STOMPer wrote:

"Tell me what you think about this 'choose any 3 for $30' sign.

"It's displayed at a pharmacy at AMK Hub.

"Will this mislead the public?

"It turns out that the offer is not for any product.

"They claimed that their HQ instructed them to display the sign in this manner."

Watsons very often used to do this to con unsuspecting customers. I am sure more than 5 out of 10 ppl who only found out at cashier just continue to pay normal price coz no time to rethink/change or just simply shy in front of others in queue. This is one ugly tactic where many tourists are frawn upon us, even locals too. Nowadays when i see watsons have $1 or whatsoever big signs, i dun even bother to see carefully whats written in tiney letters hidden somewhere

Must be the work of foreign managers.
English is not their first language.

i think u can argue your way thru and insist that u r paying according to the advert or sign. if they refused, ask them to rephrase or remove it.
