STOMPer Steve felt uneasy when he noticed that his neighbour had placed hazardous items such as oil tins and gas tanks along their common corridor.
Said the STOMPer:
"A few months ago, they left a big piece of glass leaning against the corridor wall. If it had fallen, it would have smashed into pieces and injured passers-by.
"I went to approach my MP and he sent out a letter to the HDB as well as the Town Council to handle this case, but things never improved.
"Last night they picked up a barrel and left it along the corridor. This morning, I discovered that it was labelled 'Toxic' when I was sending my kid to school.
"What would happen if the barrel leaked and the toxic substance flowed along the corridor?
"I hope that the Sembawang Town Council will look into this case seriously."
