Diners bring dog into restaurant but staff turns a blind eye

It was insensitive for a group of people to bring their dog into Bottle Tree restaurant last night (February 13), but it is also very inconsiderate of restaurant staff who turned a blind eye to what was happening.

STOMPer briwin was at the restaurant when he noticed the dog being allowed on the bench.

This could offend other patrons who might not be comfortable being around dogs, he says.

The STOMPer says in an email dated February 14:

"This popular restaurant was heavily crowded last night with lots of families having their Chinese New Year dinner.

"A group of people sitting in the middle were having their dinner with a dog.

"The dog was sitting on the bench sometimes.

"I thought that it was not appropriate. If the people have no common sense, the management should have told them that the animals are not allowed in such restaurants.

"Animal lovers can have their pets at home and parks, but not at shopping centres and eating places.

"They should understand that the same table will be used by others and young children, who don’t like such pets, immediately after .

"Sorry that the photos are not clear as the place was quite dark but please focus on the message instead".

Hello excalibur91, you are saying that dogs are more civilized??? What's going on here? Are you comparing humans with dogs? So, are you one of them too? No wonder in Singapore, i heard people saying that they don't want kids instead prefer to have few pets.... what a pity!!!!
