Is cat locked in box? Its mew can be heard coming from it

STOMPer Sally heard the mewing of a cat coming from a locked box while at Choa Chu Kang's Sunshine Place. She wonders if the cat has been locked there by its owner. I was at Choa Chu Kang's Sunshine Place yesterday.

Said Sally:

"As I was walking down the escalator from the second floor, I heard a loud sobbing mewing sound.

"As a cat lover, I went to look around and to my surprise it's actually coming from a locked white box from this small kiosk on the first floor.

"They even tried to use items to cover it.

"I tried to retrieve the box, but it simply won't open as it's locked tightly.

"Even if they are the owners, they are not doing their job as one by locking their cat there.

"Can SPCA or anyone please help to save this cat?

"And why isn't SPCA doing their job?"
