The Singapore Civil Defence Force personnel, who left his car parked illegally with a note saying that he was on duty, will be dealt with by the agency.
On January 8, STOMPer Anonymous spotted a car parked on double yellow lines in the Woodlands Ring area.
Upon closer look, he realised that the owner had stuck a note to his windscreen, asking to be excused as he was on duty.
Not knowing if the sign was legit, the STOMPEr sent some pictures to STOMP.
In their reply, SCDF says:
"We have investigated the matter and found that the private vehicle belonged to a SCDF personnel.
"We would like to assure the STOMPer that we take the matter seriously and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against the person concerned.
"We thank the STOMPer for the feedback".

Nobody is above the law no matter who are you. Everything happen with a cause or reason. In this world no thing happen without a reason and cause. You break it accept as a man or else you will face karma. Park anywhere whether you break traffic law or what, nobody will care about it. But you break law when you a civil servant then I think you get the punishment.
We are tax payer and he/she serving the country using our money so he/she must obey the law and know the pros/cons. If all civil servants break the law or bend on it. What our country will become? That is why our society become what is today. Sadz..
i understand, hope this will be my last comment and let's move on. 8)
yes you're right, you don't have to agree with me.. in fact I'm quite impress with your "nobody is above the law" attitude, it's a shame we deal things differently.. for me, i don't mess with karma
as for asking for my car plate number,
nah it's ok, there are already people who get paid to hunt down law-breakers like me, don't worry, let those carpark attendants do all the hard work for you, you're been working hard enough already... go spend some time with family ya?
have a nice weekend,
cheers!
You are a robot!
Which part of the word "flexible" you dont understand?
u were at xx company collecting some documents, on your way out you saw one of the admin surfing internet on her computer..
ya she may be wrong, but.. is there a need to tell her boss??
on your way back home, you saw an old man selling curry puffs at the void deck..
even a 3 years old kid also knows it's ILLEGAL to do that..
but.. is there a need to call NEA to report the matter??
only sadists will saboh, simple as that.
yes, they may think they are good civilians, but for what? they got nothing to gain, some may praise them, most will cruse them.. unless you enjoyed watching people suffer, lost their job, get fine etc...
if it's nothing serious and none of your business, pls.. just walk away, don't be a kpo.
as for those who's not a sadist, pls, don't follow the rules blindly, people might have kids at home waiting to be fed, have a heart.
