Don't auxiliary cops have better things to do than check for illegal parking?

STOMPer Atomyc thinks these auxiliary police officers should be made better use of than making them roam the streets for illegally parked vehicles.

Said the STOMPer:

"As a tax-payer, I feel that we are wasting our money paying for these four people -- dressed as auxiliary police officers -- but roaming our roads for illegal parking.

"How many divisions of the police force do we have in Singapore?

"And can somebody tell us Singaporeans who has the 'authority' when we are approached by this so-called police officers -- plain clothes or like those in the photos?

"Especially when all are dressed as police officers. Can someone enlighten me?"

CISCO are paid to do a "specific" work here. That is to check for illegally parked vehicles.

cxuanfei, i don't understand where is this corruption u are talking about? Doesn't matter who owned those auxiliary police. Bottom line is. if u don't park illegally, u don't pay fines. Are u one of those that keep paying fines? I don't see anything wrong for making ppl fined for parking offenses. Unless u want it to cause chaotic manner when everyone can park everywhere they like maybe infront of ur house doorstep if u owned pte property? Or maybe u want them those minor offencer to jailed for a day or 2 wasting our money providing food for them instead.

Certis is a contractor of SPF .. SPF pay it's contractor to do the job .. Contractor charge SPF for work done .. Bottom line .. Profit goes to the owner of certis .. Who ? Stupid !!!

u've parked illegally...got summoned...u not happy then u took out ur mobile phone n took pix of them with d reason of making story to relieve ur anger..good job for being damn, super, 100% STUPID.ppl dun do job, u complain.ppl do job also u complain..where does ur brain go? on ur knees or on ur butt? or wat i can say u can just throw ur license n take public transport.then life is better..aniwei they r doin job that they r pay for..they r nt doin tis just SPECIALLY FOR U...TAKE NOTE OF THAT! aniwei they wont b afraid of u taking their pix coz they r doin their job..
