Disrespectful to discard Buddha statue at rubbish dump: It should be returned to temple
STOMPer Sia0z was shocked at the sight of this Buddha statue discarded at a garbage area in Pasir Ris. As a Buddhist, the STOMPer thinks the owner of the statue should return or donate it to a temple instead of throwing it away.
Sia0z tells us:
"Last week, when I was walking to my house at Pasir Ris Block 121, I passed by Block 129.
"I was caught by surprise to see a Buddha statue placed at the garbage area.
"Should the owner of that Buddha statue throw it away?
"I doubt so, and think he must return the Buddha statue or donate it to a temple.
"A Buddha statue cannot be sold!
"I am a Buddhist and such a sight cannot be tolerated!"

You never know , some ppl could have sealed some evil spirit ... or more into the statue so that they can protect themselve just like some trees tied with strings could be tied to keep the spirit in place . So who knows ? No offence btw

@ridzuannnnn firstly I'm a muslim, and u make us muslim look bad. When other people draw a cartoon of our prophet, you are angry and when you say those sentence of course the buddhist believers feel offended. And lastly we, muslims are not taught to offend others, you piece of trash.

I see some of the bigots here making sensitive ignorant comments. These are the people that are the bad sheeps that deter Singapore thriving towards cohesiveness. Shame on you people.

i am confused. Stomper said the Statue of Buddha cannot be sold. Then how come there are so many shops selling them for profit?
