In an earlier article, a STOMPer claimed that the toilets at Golden Village Yishun had degenerated into an unsightly state just three weeks after undergoing renovations. The management of GV Yishun, however, believes the STOMPer's pictures were taken more than four months ago.
These pictures show the differences in the old and new toilets.
A spokesperson for GV Yishun sent in this email, addressed to the STOMPer:
"Dear STOMPer Angela, we refer to your post dated Nov 23 titled 'Only 3 weeks since re-opening, but GV Yishun toilets already in terrible state'.
"Your post drew a lot of concern from us as we take a serious view on such occurrences and experiences.
"Upon further scrutiny of your post, we realised that the pictures shown were those of the old GV Yishun, and possibly taken before the recent renovations, perhaps more than 4 months ago.
"We are posting the photographs below which clearly show the various differences between the pre-renovated GV Yishun toilets and the current ones.
"May we highlight especially the Sanitizer Bin. We are currently using ones that have rectangular covers without any stickers on them. The one that was shown on your post has a rounded lid with stickers plastered on its side. (This has also been confirmed by the supplier of the Sanitizer Bins.)
"Due to the very high traffic at GV Yishun, toilet checks are conducted every hour daily till the Multiplex closes for the day.
"We hope that you will make a visit to the newly-renovated and eco-friendly GV Yishun to see for yourself the renovations and changes that have been made."

The GV spokeman is misleading us.
3rd photo old cubicle is same as 1st photo new cubicle .
SO hahastomp12 can GV SUE THEIR OWN SPOKEMAN?
1)Did the toilet undergo retiling work and change the layout of the floor tiles during the renovation?
2)Is that PHOTO (2) squatting toilet bowl change during the renovation?
