It has hardly been three weeks since the Golden Village Yishun cinema opened after undergoing renovation and its toilets are already in a terrible state, says STOMPer Angela.
The newly refurbished multiplex opened its doors to the public on November 4, after undergoing a 3-month long renovation which cost $5 million.
The new GV Yishun was touted as having cutting-edge systems and even motion sensor lighting in the restrooms and waterless flush systems for toilet urinals.
STOMPer Angela says:
"Is this Singapore's dirtiest cutting-edge public loo?
"Hardly three weeks after re-opening, Golden Village Yishun has degenerated into offering the public one of the worst public toilets I have ever seen.
"The toilets are dirtier than the ones at the rest stops along the Malaysian expressways.
"I was shocked to find the toilet in this state when I went in.
"Every cubicle was in a terrible state.
"The first one I stepped into had doors that were almost off the hinges and could not close, much less lock.
"Disgusting!
"Can't this leading cinema chain maintain its very own complex?"
