Diesel spill in carpark: Work of prankster or irresponsible car owner?

STOMPer Kenneth Khor has skidded twice while driving slowly in the carpark at Marsiling. On both occasions, the floor was covered with diesel, said the STOMPer.

In his email contribution, he wrote (Nov 20):

"Diesel spill at Block 2A Marsiling multi-storey carpark.

"Today is the second time, my anti-lock braking system (ABS) was activated while I was slowly going down before turning right into the ramp leading to the lower car park deck.

"I noticed that the carpark ground was covered with diesel again.

"The last time I saw this was on the 6th of Nov.

"On both occasions, I skidded about 10 metres despite travelling at a crawling speed.

"Can someone bother to investigate whether the diesel spill is due to pranksters or an irresponsible car owner?"

This is a serious problem that can cause very serious accidents. Imagine folks minding their own business and then got hit by a "floating" vehicle. Both parties suffer. TC should be more pro-active and do something pragmatic.

Already wrote to town council. Hopefully can find the culprit or else many people will get hurt. Now whenever I see water in multi storey carpark I will assume it's oil spill.... Better to be safe then crash into the walls.

i've called the police and inform the town council to check on this issue if its a bad joke or something. I fell from our bike last night. was not nice at all =(
