Ouch! Poor monitor lizard has a rusty fishing hook in its tail

This unfortunate monitor lizard ended up with a rusty fishing hook embedded in its tail. It was spotted at MacRitchie Reservoir yesterday morning (July 21).

STOMPer AMD 18000 described the find:

"A lizard hooked!

"I found a rusty fish hook piercing the tail of this monitor lizard at MacRitchie Reservoir -

"It was seen morning at 21-7-2010."

from what i know about fishing, most fish hooks are designed to rust out of the fish safely within a week if they get stuck. this one may take a year to rust out because the lizard is not in the water

AVA Will reply, the monitor lizard not in any danger. the person who did this will get away with a warning only.Is Singapore still unique . Indont think so.
