What Bugs Me
Tell us more about the bad eggs!

We need more information about the contaminated N & N eggs, says STOMPer Ckicken & Egg. He believes additional information would help consumers differentiate between good and bad eggs.

The STOMPer said in an email:

"AVA should have done a better job of informing the public about the recent case of eggs from N & N Agriculture Farm containing antibiotic residues.

"They should have said more than just "not to eat them".

"While we appreciate AVA's efforts in maintaining a safe food source, I think they should have given us more details, such as the batch date, so that consumers and businesses are better informed and will know whether to discard them.

"It would also help customers to better identify and avoid buying bad eggs."

At first, foreign workers are preferred over locals and now foreign eggs are safer. I pity all the local hens. They will be laid off even if they are still laying eggs.

Is AVA and NEA the same authority? I am confused now.

For now,it just looks like it is a ploy to increase prices for overseas eggs!

Case of sabotage here,if the reports in the media may be state so?

We just falled into the trap.
