Another altar on corridor: Resident puts up with fire hazard and smoke everyday

STOMPer Jessica's family has to put up with the smoke from her neighbour's altar on the common corridor everyday. The altar is also a fire hazard, says the STOMPer.

She wrote in an email:

"The altar is a potential fire hazard.

"This happens 3 times a day at the common corridor.

"Both HDB and Town Council are not taking action.

"My family and I suffer."

I agree with wiseperson, enacted rules but Town Council does not want to be the "Bad" person to enforce. Should ask Town Council for your GRC many cases have they resolve in a year, else what value have they been providing for the money you are paying?

Aren't our TC fees the same as the trouble maker? Town Council should be measured on overall resident's level of satisfaction with their service/ service provider. Too bad we cannot vote who should head our Town council, we can only tie the performance of Town Council with performance of our MP.
