Blood dripping from steak but eatery staff claim it's 'medium well'

STOMPer kaypohmee was served a plate of steak at TCC that was undercooked for her tastes. She claimed the chef insisted it had been cooked 'medium well' and did nothing more after she complained it was 'medium rare plus'.

Said the STOMPer:

"I went to TCC for lunch with my colleague on Wednesday. When ordering this steak, we asked for it to be done 'medium well', but it was served to us 'medium rare plus'.

"Neither of us dare to eat steak done in such a manner. We asked the service staff to bring the plate of beef back to the chef for clarification.

"Shortly after, she came back out and told us that it had indeed been done 'medium well'. We had cut the steak, but left it uneaten.

"I have asked several chefs for their opinions and they have told me that the steak was 'medium rare'.

"TCC Chef, if you do not know how to cook then do not cook. It's not the first time I've eaten steak. It is so disappointing. I'll never go to this outlet again for the beef. The rest of the food there is okay."
