STOMPer K almost collided with a taxi when the latter made an illegal U-turn outside Choa Chu Kang Community Club. The STOMPer also came across another video on a social networking site showing the same incident at the same area and thus is concerned about the safety of others.

In his email, the STOMPer wrote:

"I came across a video by rochorboy on YouTube showing a video recording of his recent driving along Teck Whye Avenue on the April 27th 2010.

"He almost had a collision with Comfort Taxi outside Choa Chu Kang Community Club where the taxi made an illegal U-Turn. 'This almost cost my life', as per quoted in his video information.

"I almost had an accident with a Comfort Taxi this morning too, at the same area. I frequent this route to go home and I feel LTA should permanently put a continuous central divider at the place where the driver almost had a collision with the Comfort Taxi.

"This will solve the illegal U-Turn and will reduce accident rate in the area.

"I remembered the said area is a high-accident area as per reported in one of the print media. Moreover, Mcdonald's delivery riders are stationed at Choa Chu Kang CC. The accident rate will go up if authority is not doing anything in this matter."
