TC: Road sign at Jurong reinstalled

In response to STOMPer silverlady1234's feedback about the road sign that had been lying on the ground for two weeks, West Coast Town Council have had the sign reinstalled.

West Coast TC said in an email to STOMP:

"West Coast Town Council would like to thank STOMPer, silverlady1234 for her feedback.

"The sign was reinstalled on 22 March 2010.

"We would like to take this opportunity to request our residents with maintenance feedback to contact us at the following numbers and email addresses, so that they can be promptly looked into:

To be fair to Tc , remember that we are a nation of whiners and there are thousands of complains and feedback from the public so it does take time sometimes. And not to forget our system has created so many agencies that sometime they can't even figure out which utility belongs to who and who Is in charge of what and where is their boundary line and what can (tai ji) push to other agency, contractor ... Remember the world does not revolve around you only!

how ironic TC always ends with this paragraph:

"We would like to take this opportunity to request our residents with maintenance feedback to contact us at the following numbers and email addresses, so that they can be promptly looked into:"

the reason people USUALLY put on stomp is because USUALLY TC is slow, half-way job or don't bother at all, yet TC still emphasize "promptly looked into"
