STOMPer UnCOMFORTable was appalled that his number was 'blacklisted' by Comfort DelGro without being informed about it. He also wonders why people are blacklisted for cancelling bookings when a cancelling option is made available.
The STOMPer said in an email:
"I've been calling the Comfort hotline for cabs recently - on about seven different days, seven different times and at different places - and they would just tell me that 'taxis in the area are busy' after about 10 seconds and hang up.
"I received the same reply for those seven times.
"I realised that this happened right after Comfort called me recently to ask me why I had made several cancellations to my bookings (I used to take cabs to work every day).
"The same thing happened this morning (March 19), so I called Comfort's customer service and managed to get the office to admit that they do have some kind of policy to place customers who often make cancellations on a 'lower priority' (I interpret that as blacklisting).
"I don't know how she defines 'often', because I'm a frequent cab user, but I wonder why are they blacklisting customers for cancelling when a cancelling option is available.
"What's worse is that they didn't even have the courtesy to tell me.
"I've been wasting my time and money calling them, all the while clueless that I was blacklisted.
"It's fine if they want to blacklist my number, but they should have been frank with me instead of blatantly lying that all the taxis in the areas I called from were busy.
"That's terrible customer service and very unprofessional.
"I think it's unfair to judge customers based on their bookings or booking cancellations because even when I don't make bookings, I still use the services of many Comfort cabs."

Samething, Someone else flag down the Cab after he took your booking,he think that it's a better fare, fail to show up.
If you can cancel booking, why cab driver can't do the same??
Stomper, my suggestion is to call up and clarify the issue, that's all you have to do!!!
Share the love!!!
I also sometimes cancel cos the street cab comes first and I was in a rush. But it is not justifiable if you really do it too many times. You might ask to define too many, ask yourself in your job, if your clients/colleagues 'tua' you without telling you why, and how would you feel? And upon "x" times of being "tua" you get damn pissed, that's the threshold the company is using likewise. The cab driver wasted his time and fuel money travelling to your destination!
if your customers did to you, how u feel?
