This SMRT bus has broken armrests and holes in the floor. It is not roadworthy, says STOMPer ominous heart.
The STOMPer says:
"These pictures were taken on board bus service number 961 which runs from Woodlands Regional Interchange to Lor 1 Geylang.
"Compared to SBS Transit, most of the SMRT buses are very old and I doubt if they are still roadworthy.
"The floor of this bus is full of holes and it is hazardous to elderly commuters.
"This protruding metal rod is a danger as something might get caught in the gap.
"The armrest is broken and the sharp ends can cause cuts and bruises to your skin if you are not aware of the danger.
"I hope SMRT considers the safety and comfort of its commuters."

SMRT initiate project to upgrade fleet and also revamp fleet of its buses. Then report in annual loss, then use it as excuse to increase bus fare.
