An SMRT cab driver scolded STOMPer RAL for giving his girlfriend a quick peck on the cheeks while on a cab ride from Kandang Kebau Hospital to his home at 4pm yesterday (Feb 18).

“The taxi driver jam braked the taxi and rebuked me, saying that such behaviour was not accepted in his cab,” the STOMPer related to STOMP via the iPhone ap.

The STOMPer recounted: “I got rebuked by the SMRT cab driver for giving my girlfriend a peck on her cheeks when I took a cab from KK hospital to home.

“In the cab, I was just being cheeky with my girlfriend and gave her a peck on her cheeks.

“The taxi driver jammed braked the taxi and rebuked me and said that such behaviour is not accepted in his cab.

“I was shocked and my girlfriend was stunned. Can I actually complain about this?”

No cabby in the right frame of mind will interfere into such minor show of affection unless the passengers has gone overboard - turning the back seat of the cab into a 'lovenest' !
