STOMPer Mandy said her home could have been on fire when the electric firecrackers she bought from a festive market in Bedok self-ignited after being switched on for only 30 minutes.

She said:

"These electrical fireracker ornaments purchased at a festive market in Bedok self-ignited after 30 minutes of usage.

"Luckily family members were around to put out the fire in time.

"What would have happened if it was left switched on overnight with nobody tending to it?

"Warning to members of the public: Do not buy or use this product!"
