Guy stepped on and kicked by woman: How can ad promote abuse?

STOMPer Public Enemy is wondering if these ads are condoning violence against men. The advertisements, displayed at a shoe store in ION Orchard, depict a man being stepped on and even "kicked" by a woman.

In the STOMPer's email:

"I saw these ads over at Ion Orchard, at a shop named Giuseppe Zanotti Design.

"Wonder whether these ads are appropriate for public display.

"Look: a man smiling away when he's stepped on & kicked at by a woman? I rest my case and let fellow STOMPers be the judge!"

If the ad was for men's shoes and the person being stepped on was a woman, would that be ok?

im afraid i have to agree somewhat with public enemy. It is disrespectful to put your feet to someone's head whether a man or woman in the asian point of view atleast. eg, respect for the elderly has mostly extinct in the west. Some even call their parents by name. It might be trivial, but little by little sense of respect will be gone in our asian society too.
