The cluttered corridors outside STOMPer Veronica's flat in Bedok will soon be clutter-free, says East Coast Town Council, which has offered Veronica's neighbours help with cleaning up.
The culprits have also been warned about the consequences of their inconsiderate behaviour.
East Coast Town Council says in an email dated February 9:
"We refer to the letter from Ms. Veronica posted on February 4, 2010.
"The Town Council has taken the necessary action to clear the paraphernalia from the common corridor.
"The lessee responsible for the situation has also been warned to keep the corridor clutter free and clean.
"In this respect, we are also providing the required assistance to dispose off the unwanted items for the lessee.
"We will continue with our inspections to ensure that the items do not accumulate along the corridor.
"We have also been in correspondence with Ms. Veronica and have explained our course of action and regret the inconvenience that was caused to her."
Hope TCs can be more responsible.
TC must be mindful that their INACTION often leads to friction/quarrels among neighbours.
Would neighbours be kind to Veronica now after they knew she had complained.
Hope TCs can be more responsible.
