STOMPer eyes_wide_open was shocked to see these two students making out openly in the MRT train, making the uncle sitting beside them and other passengers uncomfortable. The STOMPer, who is a foreigner, was surprised that Singaporeans were so open in public.

Says this STOMPer:

"I am a foreigner and was shocked to see how students act in the MRT train.

"I don't judge people by just one glance but I just couldn't let this incident pass.

"It was a rainy afternoon, sometime last week when I spotted these students boarding the MRT at Yishun.

"At first I didn't care less about them, but when they started kissing and I noticed the guy beside them had a disgusted look on his face, I couldn't stop staring.

"They really didn't care whether a lot of people were looking at them and just continue what they were doing until they alighted at AMK station.

"I was shocked to see such behaviour. I thought Singaporeans were conservative.

"I know that times have changed and this is a new generation, but I don't think it's such a bad idea to keep that self respect and proper behaviour while you are outside specially in public areas."
